How to be referred to us for supported accommodation
If you think you or someone you know would benefit from placement in supported accommodation, they will need to be referred to us by someone that can check their eligibility.
This could be through:
You may already have a Housing Officer assigned to you that can make a referral for supported accommodation.
Alternatively, apply for homelessness assistance and a Housing Officer will assess your situation.
Young people aged 16 to 25 years old (especially care leavers) will need to be referred by a Social/Specialist Worker or another professional involved in their care.
We work with:
- Aylesbury Homeless Action Group and Connection Support in Aylesbury
- Wycombe Homeless Connection in Wycombe
A member of their team will be able to assess your situation to see if you're eligible to be referred for supported accommodation.
If you're leaving prison, a Probation Officer will be able to assess your eligibility for supported accommodation and can refer you.
Each provider has specific eligibility criteria that allows them to make referrals to us for supported accommodation.
