Disabled Facilities Grant and Housing Assistance Policy

This document sets out Buckinghamshire Council’s policy in relation to spending its Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) funding.

It outlines the Council’s policy in respect of approving mandatory Disabled Facilities Grants under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 as well as its policy for offering financial or other assistance for repairs, adaptation and improvement of houses under Article 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Housing Assistance) Order 2002.

It also sets out how the Better Care Funding for DFG can be used for wider social care capital projects, as specified in the Better Care Funding Spending Plan.
