Application and subsistence fees for environmental permits

There are a number of fees for environmental permits including:

  • application fees
  • annual subsistence fees

These fees will differ depending on what sort of business you are and how you were rated at your last inspection (low, medium or high risk).

The fees are set and reviewed by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
