A different authority will deal with your permit application, depending on the nature of your businesses activity.

The Environment Agency (EA) regulates the larger scale, complex and more polluting industries.

These are activities listed under Part A (1) of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the 2016 Environmental Permitting Regulations.

Within Buckinghamshire, there are currently 5 such A1 processes and are listed as follows:
