Environment and Green Spaces
Wild Aylesbury Vale Project
The idea for the Wild Aylesbury Vale project has come from people involved in the Haddenham and Waddesdon Community Board’s Environmental Working Group, wanting to create places for wildlife to thrive in our local communities.
The overall aim of the project is to encourage wildlife into any available green space and in doing so connect us with our local green environment and support our health and wellbeing.
We want our community to get behind this project and turn every available green space into a haven for wildlife and we are here to help you do it.
We have teamed up with:
- Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT)
- Chiltern Rangers
- Lindengate - a social & therapeutic horticulture mental health charity
The project has two elements
- The Wild Aylesbury Vale Project Competition
- A micro grant for community led projects - more details will be coming soon
