Community Boards

Community Boards are a new way of bringing the council, groups, organisations and local people together to look at local issues and find ways of improving them together. Each board has a set of priorities and an allocated budget to fund local projects and initiatives.

Buckinghamshire Lottery

Buckinghamshire Lottery is a weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Buckinghamshire. Joining is easy and free and you will receive 50% of all ticket sales from supporters that sign up on your page.

High Wycombe Town Committee

The High Wycombe Town Committee provides an annual budget to deliver two rolling grant programmes for voluntary and community sector organisations based in High Wycombe town (the unparished area of High Wycombe), including the Community Support Fund and Facilities Fund.

Community Impact Bucks

Community Impact Bucks is an independent charity that supports people and groups to get involved and make a difference in Buckinghamshire communities. They offer advice and training, help people to find volunteering opportunities, and help charities and not for profit groups to get started, be effective and grow.

The Clare Foundation

The Clare Foundation provides strategic guidance, support and funding information to Buckinghamshire charities. Charity leaders can have one-to-one pro bono guidance sessions. Their website provides detailed information and guidance to support charities during these times.

Heart of Bucks

Heart of Bucks is the community foundation for Buckinghamshire; a charitable funding organisation that awards grants and loans to local causes, charities and community groups. As one of the largest non-statutory funders in the county, together with its donors, Heart of Bucks has supported many thousands of community organisations since its first grant payment in 2000.

Leap

Leap is the strategic lead for physical activity and sport in the county, with funding from Sport England. They work with a huge range of partners to enhance people's lives through physical activity and sport. The Leap team help support community sport and activity groups access funding to sustain them if they are under financial threat.

Action4Youth

Action4Youth provide positive, often transformational experiences and activities which inspire children and young people. They are offering support to organisations and groups working with young people.

Rothschild Foundation

The Rothschild Foundation is a charity which supports the local third sector through two grant-making programmes. Strategic grants make longer-term investments in culture, secure and nutritious food, and young people.

Community grants respond to broader needs of Buckinghamshire communities, and support organisations addressing disadvantage and inequality.

The Foundation is keen to support local communities recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, building on past funding for emergency food, supporting the homeless, and providing help and advice in the most deprived wards in the county.

The Foundation advocates for a joined-up approach to solving challenges and works closely with Buckinghamshire Council, Heart of Bucks and other local and national partners.
