Please note the deadline for the artists call out has now been reached.
Buckinghamshire Libraries are seeking two mixed media artists for the Art Unites: Our Stories project, funded by Arts Council England. This community co-creation initiative invites Buckinghamshire communities to explore various artistic media inspired by local heritage, stories, and memories. The project runs from October 2024 to April 2025, concluding with a traveling exhibition across four libraries: Amersham, Princes Risborough, Bourne End, and Marlow.
We need two community-focused artists to collaborate with artist-illustrator Kremena Dimitrova, planning and delivering workshops in drawing, mono-printing, photography, textiles, collage, mapping, and creative writing. Workshops will run from January to March 2025, each lasting 2-3 hours.
Each artist will be paid £1,394 for five days' work, covering project meetings, planning, and delivering four workshops at either Bourne End or Marlow.
Interested artists should send a short CV, a one-page expression of interest, and links to their work to: [email protected]
Deadline: 31 October 2024
