Easton Street Multi-Storey Car Park - latest update
Buckinghamshire Council has appointed and is working with Coleman Group to carry out the demolition of the Easton Street Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) in High Wycombe.
The demolition marks the next stage in the site's transition and will prepare the area for potential future uses. Removing the outdated structure will help unlock and explore opportunities to improve connectivity within this part of the town centre and support the Council's wider regeneration objectives for High Wycombe
Mobilisation and Site Set Up Works
Coleman Group will begin mobilisation activities on site from 24 August 2026.
The initial phase of works will focus on preparing the site for the main demolition activities and will include:
- Site establishment and welfare facilities.
- Installation of site hoarding and safety measures.
- Erection of scaffolding around the structure.
- Encapsulation of the building to safely contain demolition activities.
- Final site preparations and logistical arrangements prior to the commencement of demolition.
These activities are essential to ensure the demolition works can be undertaken safely and efficiently, whilst minimising impacts on neighbouring properties, businesses and the wider town centre.
