Easton Street Multi-Storey Car Park - latest update
Buckinghamshire Council has appointed and is working with Coleman Group to carry out the demolition of the Easton Street Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) in High Wycombe.
The demolition marks the next stage in the site's transition and will prepare the area for potential future uses. Removing the outdated structure will help unlock and explore opportunities to improve connectivity within this part of the town centre and support the Council's wider regeneration objectives for High Wycombe
Progress to date
Coleman Group began mobilisation activities on site on 24 August 2026. Good progress has been made on site since our last update:
- Completion of scaffolding to all elevations
- Exclusion zones for compact demolition have been set up
- Compact demolition on southern elevation has commenced
- Compact demolition on stair core two has commenced
Scaffold encapsulation enclosing the structure
Level 11 demolition progress - Removal of cantilever slabs and parapet walls on the west elevation using the robotic plant
Level 12 demolition progress - Removal of the access ramp between levels 12 and 11 using robotic plant
Next steps
Over the coming weeks, works will continue to progress as planned:
- Demolition of cantilever sections (East and West) floors 9,8,7 and 6
- Removal of beams on Southern Elevation.
- Deconstruction of stair core two (roof level) and floor 9
