CIL guidance for parish and town councils

Payment periods

The district council and parish council can agree when the CIL funds are paid.

Where there is no agreement the district council must pay the CIL it receives from 1 April to 30 September to the parish council by 28 October of that financial year.

It must pay the CIL received from 1 October to 31 March by the 28 April of the following financial year.
