Public realm improvements: White Hart Street, Wycombe

Public realm works including carriageway and footway surfacing improvements.

The scheme forms part of the High Wycombe Regeneration Strategy PDF,7.87MB.

Location of works

White Hart Street, High Wycombe

Project aims

The improvements to the public realm at White Hart Street has enhanced the area for residents and visitors, and has supported food and beverage businesses in providing outdoor 'alfresco' seating.

Improvements to the public realm also allows for more opportunities to activate the space through arts, cultural and social opportunities – celebrating the culture of High Wycombe where possible.

The new space will draw people into the area and provide improved opportunities to dwell, shop and socialise.

Project funding

The project made up of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 was delivered under budget. Chiltern Rangers have been engaged to maintain the planting.
