How much the advice costs
The cost of the advice will depend on the size of your proposal.

What you need to send us with your application
Along with the pre-application advice application form, you'll need to send us:
- site plans
- site address
- detailed description of the development
For larger developments, you may need to provide more information. View the Department for Transport's guidance on what to include in transport assessments.
Apply for pre-application advice
Complete our Pre-Application Advice Request Form (DOC, 35KB).
Give us as much information about your proposal as possible.
When you've completed the form, submit it to one of the following:
- Aylesbury Vale area: [email protected]

- Wycombe area: submit your request using the online form.
- Minerals and Waste applications: [email protected]
Paying our invoice
We'll send you an invoice after we've received your formal request. You'll need to pay it within 14 days.
We'll only attend meetings or send a written response after we've received your undertaking to pay the invoice.
