Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday (only) and are subject to change.

During the following Public Holidays most bus companies in Buckinghamshire will operate their Sunday timetables. Bus services which do not operate on Sundays will not run. Please double check with your company before travel:

When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April 2025 to Tuesday 30 June 2026

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Monday 13 April to Friday 15 May

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between Bridge Street and the High Street. All buses will divert as follows:

• Bus route 18 and 133 will divert via the bypass serving the High Street via Stratford Road. This service will miss the stops on London Road during this time.
• Bus route 60 will run as normal to the Chandos Road stops on London Road, then divert via Bourton Road, entering and exiting the High Street via Stratford Road. All stops will be served.
• Bus routes 134, B1, B2, B3, B5, B12, X6 and X60 will divert between the High Street and London Road, via Moreton Road, Western Avenue and West Street. All stops will be served.
• Bus route X5 will enter and exit the High Street via Stratford Road, missing no stops.

When: Monday 13 to Friday 25 April, 9am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for works by UKPN. Bus route 163 will divert missing the stops in Slapton and on Slapton Road in Billington.

When: Friday 16 April to Thursday 14 May

What: This road has been closed for emergency works by Thames Water. Bus route 107 will divert via Windsor Drive and Fulmer Drive, missing stops on Oxford Road and Fulmer Road north of Fulmer Drive.

When: Monday 20 to Saturday 25 April, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. The last journey in each direction on bus route 40 will be unable to serve stops Marlow Road or New Road diverting instead via the Wycombe Road.

When: Monday 20 April to Sunday 23 August

What: This road is closed for utility works. Bus route 53 will divert via Cumberland Avenue and Northern Road, missing the Stoke Park stops on Park Road. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Farnham Lane instead.

When: Friday 24 April, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed between Furze Lane and Great Horwood Road for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route X60 will divert via Furze Lane missing stops on the High Street and Buckingham Road (south of Furze Lane).

When: Saturday 25 April

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus routes B1, B2 and B12 will divert missing stops in Water Stratford, Westbury and Turweston.

When: Sunday 26 April

What: This road is closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus route 60 will divert via the A413 missing stops in Oving, North Marston and Granborough

When: Sunday 26 April 2pm to 3pm

What: This road is closed for a St George's Day Parade, the Market Square stop will not be served. During these hour passengers are advised to use the stops on New Road instead.

When: Monday 27 April to Saturday 23 May

What: this road is closed for works by HS2. Service 112 buses will divert via Westcott and Waddesdon missing the stops in Upper Winchendon.

When: Friday 1 to Friday 15 May, 7pm to 7am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 130 will divert via Lacey Green and Walters Ash. As such stops on the Wycombe Road between Woodway in Princes Risborough and Bradenham Wood Lane will be missed at these times.
