About the park and facilities

The park is a large open space that forms part of the Riverside Walk. It's great for walking, picnics and informal games.

It's one of 3 play spaces (along the Riverside Walk) that has a 'Play on Birds' theme, with natural features and a large hand-carved wooden barn owl. It's for ages 2 to 14.

The park also has:

  • a football goal area including:
    • a basketball hoop
    • tarmac pad
  • teen shelter
  • 4 small informal football goals

Inclusive play items include a:

  • basket swing
  • large wooden owl
  • large dish roundabout

Access and parking

The park has good access from Monet Place and Goya Place with a hard-surfaced path around the park and linking to the play items.

There is a limited car parking area off of Rembrandt End.

Damage or vandalism

Occasionally sites may be subject to misuse or acts of vandalism, including:

  • broken glass being left on the ground
  • damaged play equipment
  • graffiti
