About the park and facilities
The park is a pleasant open space next to the Great River Ouse with pedestrian links to Buckingham’s main shopping area. It also links to the larger Heartlands open space area.
The park has:
- a play space (for ages 2 to 12)
- a skate park (for ages 8 and over)
- sheltered seating areas
Access and parking
The park has good access with hard-surface paths linking Bridge Street and Cornwalls Meadow car park.
There is pay and display car parking off of Cornwalls Meadow, a short walk from the play facilities.
Damage or vandalism
Occasionally sites may be subject to misuse or acts of vandalism, including:
- broken glass being left on the ground
- damaged play equipment
- graffiti
