Bourne End Community Library
Is your local library service in Bourne End, run by Buckinghamshire Council Libraries Service. Open Tuesday to Saturday, they run regular free events for families and adults from all backgrounds.
Brighter Futures Marlow
Is a Community Interest Company (CIC) – a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside young people, families, professionals and organisations to create real, lasting change. They reinvest every penny into boosting young people’s mental health and wellbeing. They do this through projects, training and work that improves how services support young people. They deliver youth projects across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, and work nationally to drive wider change via training, consultancy and partnerships. Their small but mighty team brings together clinicians, youth workers and creatives to help young people and those around them thrive.
The Princes Centre
Is a day care service for elderly people who might be isolated, lonely or whose carers might need a break; adults with mild or moderate learning disabilities; and those with mental health difficulties. The Centre aims to provide the best personal day care service with the utmost respect for their clients, employees, and those in the communities that we serve. Their primary goal is to maintain and enhance the quality of life and well-being of others, enhancing their potential to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible.
Dementia Action Marlow
Is an independent charity, formed in 2020, to support the local community living with dementia. They run three social sessions every week to provide support and facilitate social interaction, both for the person living with dementia and their carer. They also now facilitate a monthly Carer's Support Group, every fourth Tuesday of the month.
Art Xtra
A community art group that meets on the first Friday of every month at the Ark Café in Marlow’s Methodist Church. You don’t need any prior experience and all materials are provided for you, for £5/session.
