Culture development in High Wycombe

We're working on a cultural transformation of High Wycombe.

We've worked with Bucks Culture and the local creative community to secure funding from Arts Council England’s Place Partnership Fund and The Rothschild Foundation.

This funding will:

  • strengthen the cultural sector
  • build new partnerships
  • create opportunities for creative professionals and communities

Our goals

We want to strengthen creativity in High Wycombe by supporting local artists to learn new skills and collaborate.

We're establishing a long-term plan to:

  • create more opportunities for artists
  • create a cultural hub to promote the culture and arts
  • celebrate diversity
  • ensure that culture is an important part of High Wycombe's future

Get involved

We want the community to shape the future of the culture.

To do this, we'll need to collaborate with:

  • local artists
  • cultural organisations
  • local businesses
  • community groups

Join an upcoming event, networking session or workshop

We have secured a hub for creative and cultural activity in the centre of High Wycombe.

The address is:

Our latest progress

The project started in April 2025 and we have:

  • held two Steering Group meetings with Strategic and Community Partners and are currently finalising new memberships for this group
  • commissioned a Brand Designer and held three community workshops to inform the brand

We're currently:

  • developing a skills programme
  • receiving requests from the creative community for use of the hub
  • developing a Spotlight Programme of activity and application process for the creative community to be part of the project
