Saving energy in your home
You can reduce your household bills by saving energy and making your home more energy efficient.
Buckinghamshire Council offers some advice for saving energy and tackling climate change at home.
There is also a home energy efficiency scheme available if your property has an energy rating of D, E, F or G and the household is either:
- earning an annual household income of less than £30,000
- receiving eligible benefits

Keeping your home free from damp and mould
Whilst you may be tempted to turn off your heating in order to save on your bills, a combination of heating and effective ventilation is essential to reducing damp and mould in your home. This will also help reduce the risk of respiratory infections caused by damp and mouldy conditions.
