Settling in Buckinghamshire: Information for Afghan migrants

The community here in Buckinghamshire, and the council, has been deeply moved by the plight of people in Afghanistan.

We will work with the British Government to welcome many families to make new lives in Buckinghamshire over the coming months and years.

The council is here to support you with settling in, including help with finding employment, schools, healthcare, and classes for adults should you need them.

Our dedicated support team will try to answer any questions you may have and will help you communicate with other organisations or departments. It may take the team up to 2 days to get back to you during busy times.

If you need to speak to someone from the council outside of working hours, you can contact the Emergency Social Work Team. There is someone on duty from 5pm to 9am.
