Traffic and road issues
We are requesting agreement from Highways to:
- add suitable traffic calming measures on Hughenden Avenue to address speeding concerns
- install yellow lines at the corners of the following roads as parking on corners creates blind spots for other motorists:
- Brindley Avenue
- Brunel Road
- Kevin Close
- Fulton Close
Abandoned vehicles
We are developing a plan to resolve the issues of abandoned vehicles in the area.
Hughenden Boulevard
We are working in partnership with our Community Safety and Waste Teams as well as schools and community groups to develop a proposal that:
- improves the safety of footpaths and highway verges
- enhance the natural beauty of the River Wye and the adjacent verge
Youth engagement
We will be designing a targeted initiative for Year 5 or Year 6 pupils from a local school.
