Make a donation and pledge support
How can I help?
Most people will not be in a position to open their homes to a Ukrainian family but still want to help in the best way they can. One of the best way to help is to make monetary donations via the national Disasters Emergency Committee Fund, details of which can be found below – while the situation is so grave and chaotic in Ukraine and the surrounding countries this is the best way to get help and items channelled to where they’re needed most.
You can donate to the local Heart of Bucks community foundation Crisis Fund
Also you can pledge your support by offering, translations, supplies, toys etc.or
We will update this page and send out further communications, as the situation unfolds.
Help from business
If your business is able to provide employment or other support services for refugees visit Buckinghamshire Business First for information on how to express your interest.
Help from community groups
The Bucks Online Directory now features a ‘support for Ukrainian refugees’ category to highlight local support to Ukrainians and their sponsors as they arrive in Buckinghamshire.
If you have set up a new group, club, or activity that offers support to Ukrainian refugees, we would encourage you to add it to the Bucks Online Directory by creating an account.
Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
An appeal has been launched by the UK's Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to help Ukrainians fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.
Donations to the appeal help DEC charities provide food, water, shelter and healthcare to refugees and displaced families.
If you wish to make a donation, this can be done via the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
