Coffee and Cakes with John Macilwraith
Buckinghamshire Council's new Corporate Director for Children’s Services, John Macilwraith is now in post and will meet with Foster Carers for a coffee and a cake event.
As we mentioned in a previous blog, Buckinghamshire Council has recently appointed a new Corporate Director for Children’s Services, John Macilwraith. John replaces Richard Nash who has been Interim Corporate Director since June 2021. Richard is moving back to his role as Service Director for Children’s Social Care at the Council.
And we are delighted to announce that John will be joining us for a 'Coffee and Cake' session in which he would love to hear from all of you about all things fostering - the good, the bad, the ugly. What challenges are we all facing? What are things that we do really well as a service? What could be improved? What are the big wins that you've had as carers under difficult circumstances? These are all things that John wants to know in a relaxed setting at Walton Grove next month over a brew and a slice of cake.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible.
