Help taking out your bins
Get help with moving your bins if you cannot take them to the boundary of your property.
Who can get help
You can get help with your bins if one of the following applies:
- you're aged 75 or over
- you have a certified short or long-term medical condition
- you're registered with a disability
You must also have no one aged 16 or over living with you who can help.
Apply for an assisted collection
Apply online for help with taking out your bins.
After you've applied
If you qualify and no one aged 16 or over can help you at home, we'll add you to the assisted collection service within 10 working days.
Once you're on the service, we'll collect your bin from an agreed location, empty it and return it to where it was.
Manage your assisted collection
If you already receive assisted collections, you can manage your service.
Report a missed collection
If your bins is not collected, report a missed bin collection.
Cancel your assisted collection
If you no longer need help, cancel your assisted collection.
