Guide to grammar schools and the Secondary Transfer Test

Children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014 will be moving up to secondary school in September 2025. The dates set so far for that academic year are as follows.

Registration opens at 10am for children who attend out of county and partner schools.

If your child goes to a state funded Buckinghamshire primary school they are automatically registered for the Secondary Transfer Test.

Registration will close at 3pm (the date is not yet determined).

Test dates will be in the autumn term 2024 and actual dates will be confirmed closer to the time.
