Book an on-demand minibus journey (Village Connect, Aylesbury)

Book an on-demand, ride-sharing minibus service (called Village Connect, Aylesbury) for travel between Aylesbury and these surrounding villages:

• Aston Clinton
• Bishopstone
• Halton
• Hartwell
• Hulcott
• Stoke Mandeville
• Weedon
• Weston Turville

You can travel between the villages on the Village Connect map and anywhere in Aylesbury. Your journey must start or end in one of these villages.

From 27 July to 28 August 2026, children under 16 can travel free on Village Connect, Aylesbury when travelling with a paying adult.

Head into Aylesbury town for events and activities. During this time you can also enjoy days out at:

- Bucks Goat Centre
- College Lake Nature Reserve
- Marsworth Reservoir
- Wendover Woods (drop off from 8am, last Pick Up 6pm)

Book online or in the app and select 'Child accompanied by adult' for each child.

Check opening hours with the above destinations before booking travel.

College Lake Nature Reserve is closed on Mondays.

If you are returning from Wendover Woods, please arrive promptly at your collection point for pick-up.

You can book your trip in advance or on the day. A minibus will pick you up from a nearby ‘virtual bus stop’ or a normal bus stop. Smart software then works out the best route for you and other passengers.

You can travel Monday to Friday, 6am to 7pm (not on public holidays).

Fares are from £2.50 to £4.50 and depend on the distance travelled

You will be told the fare when you book your journey.

You can pay in advance when you book your journey or pay the driver with cash, card, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

All journeys after 9am are free for Concessionary Bus Pass holders.
