Aylesbury: Canine Capers
1 to 31 August 2026
High Street Trail: Find the dogs painted on our shop windows throughout the town to learn about their breeds and how to care for them. Complete the trail and receive a free goody bag.
Photo Competition: Find the selfie props in the town centre, pose for a photograph and enter it into our photo competition to win a big prize.

Buckingham: Discover Buckingham

The Fringe: We are celebrating Buckingham’s independent businesses with a celebratory Open Day. 30 participating businesses are offering event day discounts, free workshops, live music and fringe activities. From a demonstration kitchen on the market to a children’s entertainment garden and tarot card reading, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Haddenham: Happy Haddenham

High Street Trail: We challenge you to find 12 happy quotes to unlock 12 special prizes in shops throughout our village. Our shop windows will be dressed throughout August with displays to make you smile.
High Street Trail Launch - Saturday 1 August: The Happy Haddenham Launch Day will provide free activities to promote fun, laughter and wellbeing, including a balloon artist, a costumed character and a face painter.

Wendover: Traders trail

High Street Trail: The Wendover Traders have collaborated to captivate young explorers. Each has a special collectible card waiting to be picked up. Visit every Trader and collect all 12 cards to complete your collection before the end of August to win a prize. Good luck, Explorer!

Gerrards Cross: Dig it!

Chesham: Chesham Explorer's Day
Saturday 22 August from 9:30am
Pick up a Chesham Passport and get ready to explore the town with a whole day of FREE family fun, activities and prizes.
Take your passport into local shops where they will issue you with a stamp and small treasures, when you find all 15 stamps you will win a free prize.
Along the route there will be FREE activities, including jewellery making, metal detecting, a football competition, pottery painting, badge making and face painting.

High Wycombe: Bears on Chairs
High Street Trail 6 to 16 August 2026: To celebrate our furniture making heritage we challenge you to find 12 teddy bears sitting on chairs in shop windows across High Wycombe. Learn about the fascinating history of the chairs. Find all 12 bears to win a teddy of your own to take home.
