Elections: 7 May 2020

Please note the government has announced that elections for the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley, Buckinghamshire Council and Town and Parish Councils, due to take place on 7 May 2020, have been postponed and will now take place on 6 May 2021.

Register to vote

The quickest and easiest way to register to vote is online via the Government portal. If you are unable to register online or want to check if you are already on the register, please contact the relevant Area Office shown below.

Confirm your registered voting details (Annual Canvass)

Each year we conduct an annual canvass of all households to check that the information on the electoral register is up to date. Visit confirm your registered voting details to ensure yours is up to date.

How do I apply for a postal or proxy vote?

Postal vote application forms and proxy vote application forms are available to download from the Electoral Commission’s website.

You will need to download an application form, print it off and complete it in wet ink. The completed form can either be scanned and emailed or posted to the relevant Area Office below.
