Delays to planning services
Our planning team is currently experiencing high volumes of work due to the unprecedented number of planning applications and enquiries being submitted.
Coupled with the impact of the pandemic on our resources over the last year, this means there are currently delays in processing applications and responding to requests across our services.
Initial planning advice
Whilst we continue to accept and deal with any requests for initial planning advice, we cannot guarantee a written response within our usual timeframes.
If you prefer, you can move directly to submitting an application.
Where possible, we will take a flexible approach to enable negotiations on changes to schemes during the application process.
It would be appreciated if applicants and agents can be patient with officers and reduce contact by email or phone. Where necessary, officers will contact you or your agents directly.
