WhizzFizzFest entertains the crowds in Aylesbury
Thousands of people lined the streets of Aylesbury on Saturday (2 July) to watch and enjoy this year’s ‘fizztastic’ WhizzFizzFest parade – which featured children from local schools.
WhizzFizzFest is a family-friendly literary and arts festival that has been delighting visitors for many years.
As well as the spectacular parade, lots of families enjoyed meeting well-known children’s authors Lauren Child and Chris Smith, who were on hand to sign their books and chat to visitors.
In addition, there were the much-loved festival favourites, including:
- interactive arts activities
- local authors
- original commissioned performances and events
Brush Parties at the Discover Bucks Museum also went down a storm, resulting in some marvellous masterpieces being created.
