Since 2015 Heart of Bucks has provided funding to individuals and families struggling with the cost of daily life. Demand for this kind of support has increased and in the last four years the total amount distributed has gone from £40,000 to £800,000.
To continue our unique work to support those experiencing poverty in our county, we have launched Together Against Poverty. This appeal replaces our Crisis Appeal and Winter Warmth to provide essential one-off grants to help households experiencing severe hardship and distress, including food, shelter, fuel or digital poverty.
Our grants provide quick access to valuable financial support to help individuals and families out of difficult situations, and helps them to rebuild their lives. Our unique system of referrals from Community Advocates – front-line experts – helps us to reach those most in need and ensure all funding is making a real difference.
