Following government guidance on the coronavirus emergency and in order to keep our workforce and the public safe, Transport for Buckinghamshire has and continues to work on adjusting its activities, plans and how we do things depending upon the latest advice received.

Our primary focus is to continue to keep roads in Buckinghamshire safe, particularly for emergency services, key workers and distribution of essential supplies. Safety for both our staff and the public is of the utmost importance. Social distancing and hygiene standards will be observed in accordance with government guidance whilst balancing the need for any safety defects to be repaired in the correct manner.

We are currently continuing with repairs of the most safety critical defects, but we are now assessing our planned programme of more extensive improvements in the light of many unknowns including likely availability of workers, materials, equipment. We are also working with utility companies and to see what changes need to be made, if any.
