Getting residents to their vaccination appointment

Help to get to an appointment

  1. Please check whether a family member, neighbour or other transport option can get you to your appointment. For guidance when sharing a car, visit GOV.UK: safer travel guidance for passengers.
  2. Where possible and appropriate for you, use public transport - Buckinghamshire residents will be able to use their concessionary bus pass to travel to a vaccination appointment at any time of the day.
  3. For those with no alternative options, contact Community Impact Bucks who can advise on travel support in your area. Please note, if the people are housebound then, dependent on their needs, Community Transport Schemes may not be suitable.

If you are an organisation or individual who wants to volunteer transport support

Organisations, both voluntary and non-voluntary, who can help by volunteering to drive residents to their vaccination appointments, should email Community Impact Bucks: [email protected]

We are using the Buckinghamshire Community Transport Hub scheme which is commissioned by Buckinghamshire Highways and delivered by Community Impact Bucks. This will help us map all offers of help so we can pass this on to those booking the appointments.
