Meet the Artist Event – Wendover Community Library
The event was an opportunity for the Wendover community to get to know more about the art installation that will be displayed as part of the refurbishment project for the library.
Saturday 10 December we held a Meet the Artist Event at Wendover Community Library. This was led by Kremena Dimitrova, artist and illustrator, who has been commissioned to create a unique art installation for the transformed library.
The day was a huge success with a wide range of participants throughout the 3 hour drop-in session. Kremena presented her past work and the research she has completed on Wendover. There were a number of interactive activities for those attending to take part in.
There will be further sessions this year (dates to be confirmed) where Kremena will work with the community, staff and volunteers to find out what they would like to be featured as part of the designs.
