Foster Care Fortnight 2024

Here at Buckinghamshire Council, we believe that the best place for our children in care to thrive is in safe, caring family homes.

Caring for our foster carers

We understand that to be a great carer, you need great support too.

In addition to our 24/7 support, extensive training, and highly competitive financial allowances for our foster carers, we're also launching a brand new, unique and exciting package of perks and benefits exclusively for Buckinghamshire Council foster carers during Foster Care Fortnight.

When you start to build a foster family with Buckinghamshire Council, you become part of an even bigger, brilliant fostering family who all have one thing in common; we care.

Foster Care Fortnight 2024

Between 13 and 26 May, we'll be celebrating the Fostering Network’s national recognition of Foster Care Fortnight.

This year's theme is #FosteringMoments – come and join at one of our events and find out about how we can work together to build a child’s future.
